Users review: We have just returned from the earliest demonstration, we were able to get a babysitter for. I can say with confidence that my fears for this movie were completely unfounded, and I now hold Guy Ritchie and these writers in the highest regard. Without getting into spoilers, here are three issues that have been addressed quite on vacation: 1) After seeing the trailer is my biggest concern, the use of bullet time type of photography during the Victorian era movie . I thought it would be totally anachronistic and pointless. However, theyd already in the previous film, and that Holmes is established hyper-aware of his surroundings. Bullet-time was used to convey how traumatic few scenes someone with this kind of awareness were, and it works beautifully.2) Jared Harris as saw vanilla and soft in the promo photos and trailers, I do not me could imagine as a dangerous enemy of Holmes. However, his Moriarty is so subtle and cunning, and at a point just sadistic, I do not think I might be able to make a better choice. Several times I have the feeling that he was his father (Richard Harris, outstanding) channeling without warmth and empathy that the late actor transmitted. Can you imagine Richard Harris as cunning, calculating perfectionist, completely free of concern for human life? You wont have to search for her son. His strange. He sings.3) relationship with Holmes Watson (and to a lesser extent, Irene Adler) fantastic is developed. Say more than that would be too spoilery.So to watch them w / my husband (who is a die hard fan of Sherlock, and is used to Sherlock Holmes read aloud to myself every rainy night, complete w / cast) was a great experience. We can not wait to see it again and have it. |
