Users review: With a star studded cast, featuring the likes of Michael Fassbender, Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Javier Bardem and Brad Pitt, and directed by Ridley Scott, with a script from one of the greatest living American skáldsagnahö ; meetings, Cormac McCarthy, of course, I went to see a consultant at face value alone. Indeed, apart from the fact that it is very cinematic endeavor, in the first half of this movie is pretty bad. In the first act and a half is too cryptic for its own benefit a debate that is in love with her own double entenders and lines that sound like and they are more at home in a novel but spoken aloud by human beings. But, if you are patient enough to stay with this film until the second hour, you will be rewarded by witnessing how McCarthy and Scott weave this story almost all function together, quietly instructing the audience in the finale brilliantly disturbing and hypnotic. Exhibitions (from Stand Bardem) are all fine here. These are all great players, so what else would you expect? The same applies to the direction. The wildcard with Advisor McCarthy was ever again write transition feature films, transition was the first non-action on the basis of discussion only. At the same time, high quality story of a lawyer who gets involved in drug trafficking and its masterful construction almost completely settled by the time its all said and done. As I alluded to before, there is not much action here, which can give the illusion that some sequences are a must, but nothing is making progress, which may also contribute to checking out. But in this film based conversation, as I would prefer negotiations covered more subtlety, the subtext is always interesting, gaining skriðþ , a young convergent stories from his inside second half. Final thought: The Advisor is the image equivalent artichokes. You either like it or you dont. And both are understandable. Maybe one day, when all of the critical heat dies down, history will look more kindly on this movie.
