Users review: From the trailer, I had high hopes for this movie halls would show with a lot of humor and a unique premise. Unfortunately, it proved to be one of those cases where the trailer is better than the movie itself. To be fair, the movie has its moments. Comedy does not even make me laugh, but it's fun all the lines and situations. Some of the funniest moments emerge from the interaction of the characters and clever gags where everyone sees them as different people. As far as the action goes, there are quite a lot 'of mass destruction and a lot of fights and shootings. However, it is very manic, over-the-top and strangely comic. The general tone seemed really uneven, the film was very difficult at times impassible, and the other the rest of the time swollen. I was never bored, but I was never fully committed or invested things. It is a shame, because the film has some unique ideas here and there. The general premise of undead police officers are very nice, they use a lot of cool weapons, and have very few rules and eccentric ideas. Its a strange world where the evil dead Indian food causes the operating system to pop colorful monsters (if you remember at the beginning of Van Helsing, Mr. Hyde ... basically all the appearance of monsters that can be crossed zombies in I Am Legend). Everyone perceives the two main characters as a hot blonde chick and an old Chinese. Sounds like fun, right? For some reason, it all comes out as superfluous to the reconstruction of the comedy is odd, it worked so well for the men in white movie, but it's all ice b RIPD.The general history rather flat is quite fast and compact . He's doing a pretty good job introducing the characters, fighting together and craft some of the dynamic chemistry between them. But the plot is fairly normal, and he never takes the time to really invest in the audience all over the world it portrays. It shows just enough to make the plot, but he never explained a lot of things that does not rely briefly touched, and we do not care. The film uses a lot of stylish camera moves in slow motion and zoom some areas, after all, what could be seen as either really cool or really stupid. Editing is fine in general. Acting is a mixed bag: Ryan Reynolds is strangely flat and emotionless throughout, with the exception of a couple of love scenes, where Jeff Bridges steals the show several times that the role that it seems almost a parody of the his role in True Grit. Kevin Bacon is virtually alone, and I liked watching Mary-Louise Parker. The writing is not so great. This procedure uses the serial production, props and costumes. Cool special effects, but they are the cheap side. The music is hip and fun.In the end, I could not help but think of the other films, and how much better are the RIPD. Stories about the world of life and the parallels between the world of the dead, I could not help but think that the Bleach anime has had a better story, and the television series Dead Like Me was fun. Because the concept of the perfect blend of action and comedy, the two Hellboy films are really perfect. Comics inspired by the stories of the supernatural world Enforcers fight for the public is aware of three men in the film RIPD Blacks tried to do everything to succeed, but he could not. And the climax, where the dead rise and threaten to end the world, I could not help but remember when Ghostbusters was much better in this area. RIPD is also a short gag scale, which reminded me of the GB. All of these are recommended, but RIPD, not so much.Given poor box office reception, I think its safe to say that you can rest piece RIPD, buried next to images as marginal and Jonah Hex Priest.3 / 5 (Entertainment : Medium | Story: Marginal | Movies: Media) |
