Devastated Peter takes a Hawaii vacation in order to deal with recent break-up with his TV star girlfriend, Sarah. Little does he know Sarah's traveling to the same resort as her ex ... and she's bringing along her new boyfriend.
| Peter is a composer and likable sad sack who devastated when his girlfriend of five years Sarah Marshall, the star of a cheesy CSI-style crime show, abandons him. He weeps, he rails, the doldrums. Finally, his step brother Brian suggests Hawaii, so Peter goes to a resort on Oahu where, as he checking, sees Sarah and her new beau, Aldous, as Rocker Angielski polymorphously perverse. Crying and happy start again, until Peter is rescued by Rachel, thoughtful hotel clerk who invites him to a luau and to hang out. While still find Sarah and Aldous, Peter starts to come alive again. You will realize what she lost, and Sarah Rachel? |
Users review: Movie farewell funny and sometimes awkward, was this written and with long cohort Apatow, Jason Segel. Pic centers on a lost, idler hypersensitive Peter, who by his TV star copes after separating from his girlfriend bad ends, eventually fled to Hawaii, where he himself later books in a hotel, which he randomly to stay on your toes to their at.Immediate sensitive to the full frontal nudity male: it is available and more than once. That out of the way, the picture is quite friendly, which are more than a few good laughs and contain more than a lot of sex scenes captured usually funny. Many minor characters also play a role delightfully silly. And it's a fun musical component to the also a hilarious rendition of doll-related works.I think the image I have a small amount of criticism for the subject a little, but still there is something for personal healing and learning continue to be told. Those who have seen the other Apatow Photo relations might have some similarities (Slacker buddy learn, grow, tall of comedy, etc.) to see, although Apatow did not write or directly in this section. The film is also a bit on the long side, as many comedies that come from Apatow crew and see it. Some judicious trimming and referred some scenes (including a series of flashbacks) to the DVD extras wouldve been helpful.Finally, I hope that more characters can both Sarah Marshall and Peter's new love interest, a hotel employee Rachel are drawn when they played pretty two-dimensional, but I'm glad that they do not end up becoming a one-note character. I do not like the conclusion of the story arc separation, because I felt that it was a bit of an excuse, but it did not ruin the movie. Finally, Peter wrote a little on the edge in terms of confidence-sensitive, so you really have to buy a sign, if this movie break on you.Essentially, that's a funny movie, fun, but rough / raw with parts of laughs and more Jason Segel than you might ever want to see. Recommended for those who want some of their stories with laughter and may the contents vulgar, sexually, and to treat naked. 8/10. |
